Possess current required certification. (Red Cross WSI, Lifeguard, CPR and Bloodborne pathogen training. Certifications can be provided through training at beginning of summer)

Directly supervise safety of lake, swimming pools, associated equipment, and all who may be using them.

Develop and supervise instructional swim program along with the waterfront director for all chanichim.

Formulate goals for each individual chanich/a and keep all associated records.

Act as primary camp lifeguard for all free swims and special programs involving the waterfront, both on camp and, potentially, off camp.

Participate in care and upkeep of swimming pools and pool area.
